Fatima El-Bashir (Rachel Rittenhouse): Born in London, raised in Tokyo, relocated to Los Angeles. Trained at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy from age 10. Segued into musical theater at New Roads School. Awarded full scholarship to UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television - Ray Bolger Musical Theater Program. Performed in distinguished theaters including The Pasadena Playhouse, La Mirada Theatre (McCoy Rigby Entertainment), Tokyo Theatre Orb (Shibuya, Tokyo), Caesar’s Entertainment Paris Theatre, Musical Theatre West, Skylight Theatre, El Portal Theatre, The Blank Theatre and The Rev Theatre Company. Toured nationally, internationally and originated lead roles in four world premiere musicals. Film credits include: Love’s Labours Lost produced by Film Independent. Johnny Ray Gill’s W.A.L.L.D., an official selection of the Austin Film Festival 2022. And the upcoming feature, Better Half starring Dianne Doan and Connor Paolo. Recent credits include the staged reading of Tinseltown Tiptoe directed by Spencer Liff and produced by Christine Russell. Johnny Ray Gill (Robert Rittenhouse): Johnny Ray’s currently working on Oscar winner Gore Verbinski’s top-secret new animated feature. It’s top secret soooo duh, he can’t tell you anything about it... but he can say he’s best known for his critically acclaimed work opposite Aden Young on RECTIFY, which is consistently lauded as one of the best tv series of all time. He’s the voice of HOG RIDER in Supercell’s hit video game CLASH OF CLANS and has been praised for his work on UNDERGROUND leading next to Jurnee Smollett. He’s made audiences laugh with Nicole Byer on GRAND CREW, and in Robert & Michelle King’s CBS satire BRAINDEAD, starring with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Nikki James, and Tony Shalhoub. Johnny Ray headlines in Isaiah Smallman’s comedy ROLLERS available on Amazon and Apple TV. You’ve also seen him opposite Kathy Bates & Aml Ameen on NBC’s HARRY’S LAW and in episodes of SNOWFALL, TRUE BLOOD, CHICAGO PD, NCIS, and the UNITED STATES OF AL. Johnny Ray would also like to remind everyone that he isn’t related to New Edition Singer Johnny Gill. Nope, not his dad. His dad is the breadmaking Johnny Gill, who can’t sing a lick and was raised in Portland, Oregon.
Johnny Ray is a plant zaddy, poet and rapper, who teaches advanced acting at California Lutheran University and has a robust sneaker and stuffed animal collection. Depending on the occasion, you can find him with a glass of whiskey or tequila, but at all times Johnny Ray is an activist and freedom fighter whose mission is to create deeply personal and entertaining stories that decolonize minds, elevate the diaspora, and restore our beautiful planet because nothing we do is possible if Earth kills everybody. Bruce Nozick (Senator Shitstain): Bruce is so grateful to have made a living in this crazy business for his entire adult life. Thanks Johnny for this opportunity – it was a blast! On television Bruce has been a regular cast member on the Showtime series Weeds and the TNT series The Last Ship. He has recurred and Guest Starred on over 100 TV shows. He has also appeared in many feature films – most recently in the Holiday Rom-Com set to be released this December on Hulu presently called Menorah In The Middle. Bruce also loves doing live theatre and is a member of several Los Angeles based theatre companies. About six years ago, Bruce discovered that he had a passion and a talent for coaching and taping actors for their self-tape audition appointments. His business, Audition Video Services, has grown exponentially and his clients are booking many jobs that he helps them with. It’s a pleasure “paying forward” my years of experience.
Larry Herron (ED): Hails from the great state of Michigan & boasts TV credits in both comedy and drama including NCIS: LA, SNOWFALL, MODERN FAMILY & ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING. In the world of voiceover, he’s performed in over 20 video games including SPIDER-MAN & SUNSET OVERDRIVE as well as animation including YOUNG LOVE & PAWS OF FURY. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
Tobie Windham (Mr. Sad Man): An actor, producer, director, and writer. You can catch him in the upcoming season of Party Down, starring Adam Scott, Jennifer Garner, and Ken Marino. He can be seen on Disney’s hit show, Just Roll With It. The show is a groundbreaking hybrid comedy where multicam meets improv and the studio audience decides what happens to the actors in essential scenes. He also made television history with Disney’s Walk the Prank, a comedy that combined scripted comedy writing with hidden camera elements. Other credits include films, Stakes & Dekalb Elementary. Windham is classically trained in acting and holds an MFA from the American Conservatory Theater. His greatest passion is producing and shedding light on stories that need to be told. He is repped by Gersh and 3 Arts Entertainment.
Nirine S. Brown: (Mrs. Orgasm): is a native New Yorker born and raised in Queens, New York. She first explored the world of dance at the age of 5 under the direction of Bernice Johnson at the Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center. Nirine continued to train at local dance studios & joined companies such as KECEDE Company, Devore Dance Studio, The Alvin Alley School, Ballet Hispanico School, Balance Dance Company, and Broadway Theater Project in which she received full scholarships. Nirine attended the Performing Arts Talent Unlimited High School as a Dance/
Musical Theater Major. She began her first professional dance career with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular as a Rockette upon graduating High School. In order to take part of the opportunity she deferred her full dance scholarship offered by SUNY Purchase Conservatory College to spring semester. Her dancing talents allowed her to go on tour and/or perform notable Artists such as Beyonce, Janelle Monae, Lauryn Hill, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Jidenna, and the Black Eyed Peas.
Nirine’s training maturity in Musical Theater was honed through the program Broadway Theater Project in Tampa, Fl where she received a full Scholarship. Some of her credits exist in performing with the First National tour of Wicked the Musical, Fringe NYC Festival musical production of "Scandalous People" at the Minetta Lane Theater, "Dinner at Grandma’s" at The Black Spectrum Theatre, and the production of "Hattie... What I Need You to Know" playing as the young Hattie McDaniel staring actress Vickilyn Reynolds at The National Black Theatre located in Harlem, NY. Vocal Training: LaVoix Studio Nirine has vigorously pursued an acting career as well. Her most recent television appearance is with Tyler Perry new hit Drama series RUTHLESS for her role as Lynn Rollins (Series Regular).
She has also appeared in media ranging from commercial, print work, special events to independent films. As Nirine continues to pursue her career & dreams in the Arts she will continue to be humble & generous to her family, friends & community
